IN the morning, I went to barbeque with the Trinity Student Fellowship. It was raining in the morning, so we postponed the bbq from 8 am to 9 am… So, we leave our hostel at 9 am. It was a cold morning due to the rain.
We took a van to the venue, around 20 minutes ride.
Here is the place…. River with the green trees and grasses..
The path was muddy cause just finished raining…. So have to walk on the grass….
Setting up the bbq set… Reuben bought this piece of metal net for around 200+ rb..
It is a very good way of bbq with it… easy to set up…
Now took away the set, light up the charcoal now…put the charcoal on the newspaper first then light up the newspaper…
Drip the kerosene onto them to make the flame bigger…burn the charcoal until we can see the ember…
While waiting for the charcoal to burn up, some of them went to set up the stuff to fish…haha..
After the ember appear, we don’t have to drip kerosene on it anymore…just fan it until the flame light up….. and let it burn until whitish….
Its white already…and it is hot enough to bbq the foods liao…so spread it…put the metal net on it..and start bbq…
Foods for bbq, chicken, beef and hotdogs…
Additional foods, fried rice, biscuits….
When the charcoal almost finished burn out, take up the net again..and refill with the new pack of charcoal…. Then fan it until the flame light up..only then…put back the metal net and start bbq again…
Sylvia and I leave the bbq first… cause both of us got to prepare for the cell group later….
Took a few photos on our way out to the bus stop to take bus…
Stopped by a shop on our way back…
The stuff here are much more expensive than the supermarket… cause it is far away from the town….
Both of us bought 2 icecreams from the shop….
This is the train station, where we took our train to the Moscow last time… we have to stop by here and take another bus back to the hostel…
Came back hostel at around 2pm… started preparing for the foods I was going to cook for the cells later….which was vegetables soups….
While preparing for that, I got to prepare for bible story presentation later also…
Today’s cell’s programme was… each of the cell member has to tell a bible story on a character in the bible…. All of us draw lots…and I got Daniel, Josephine got Joshua…
Search in the internet for the bible story..and found it…but have to summarize it….
Cell group started at 6 pm…ended around 8 pm….
These are the foods for tonight cell group dinner…
Fried rice, salads, apple crisps, drinks, pasta, baked mushroom chickens and
My vegetables soups….
Was waiting for the cells to start….a bit nervous cause have to present bible story later on…hahahaha…
Later the next post I will put up the video of me telling the bible story…video was taken by Lynn wei…
I was the first one to present it cause I requested … so that I can peacefully sit there and listen to others’ story ….
The activity went on… to Josephine telling about Joshua, Lynn wei-David, Bennedict-Elijah, Kelvin-Abraham, Titus-Joseph, CHocky-Jonah, Yew ching-Moses, and Lawrence-ooppss..forgot who liao..hmm….
Had a lot of fun … and I can renew my bible stories knowledge again..cause last time in Sunday school only know how to play with the handwork…didn’t try to understand the story…and learn from the story… I recognized the story.. but I don’t recognize the name of the character in the story…all mixed up… But after today… at least.. can reorganized it …hahaha…
After that, preparing for the group photo session…
