Tropical biology

Today was the last day of tropical biology. A 3 days cycle. But only 3 days? Nope! We still have to continue the cycle in April. 3 more days of tropical biology. Haha…Where did we have our class ?
This time it was very near to us! It was just opposite to our hostel! Hohoho…so let me show you the way~

Cross the road there…

Go up this small hill….well..this is much more easier than tb cycle..hahhaa…some more, the snows had melted away...so it’s not slippery~

This is the building where we had our 3 days class….

Enter it and we had to climb up the stairs if the lift is not working….so today the lift is working, thus we don’t have to climb the stairs…if we climb, it will be 5 floors….not very high though…

Walk through this ‘lorong’ …and wait for teacher to tell us which class are we going to use….the class are just to the left or right of the lorong…hahaha…

A few snaps during our class…..every class we will have first written exam, it was actually a multiple choice questions, then after that will be oral discussion, then the last section will be laboratory work which is examining the prepared slides and draw out the morphology structure of the parasites and its life cycle.

We snapped the picture during the last section, when teacher leave us to do our work alone..hahaha..

Class ended around 12 -1 pm….

Because the lift wasn’t available, so we used the stairs….going down the stairs wasn’t hard compared to climbing it up..haha..

See teo, bryan and shoo hao in front? They were so hurried and rush..to where? To the cheap cafeteria near our hostel there to have their lunch…hahaha..will take a picture of it next time~

Took lagsania as my dinner…wondering what’s lagsania? It is a few piece of paper-like spaghetti with meats in between them.. and surface is full with cheese….you just put it into the microwave to warm and melt the cheese and you can eat it! It is a prepared-frozen lagsania, so just throw it into the microwave and after a few minutes, it is done! Hmm…the taste was ok ok~ hahaha..anyway got to buy another one to pay back Johnny cause it was johnny’s and he let me tried it for my dinner. Hahahhaa..
Not very expensive compared to other lagsania…it cost 30+ roubles…

Tomorrow will be tropical dermatology…this time will not be the near class, but only by our foot step, we can get there….around 15 minutes walk from our hostel…

Short update

A short update for last few days. Hmm...Had a bloated finance dinner on last sunday. I responsible to cook rice. Josephine prepared fruit-punch (drinks). Others prepare porks, apple-crisps (dessert) and mix vegies. had fun. At the end, the only left over foods are vegies, my rice and drinks. i brought back my rice for fried rice dinner for the next day. ahahaha..

Having new cycle on TROPICAL BIOLOGY this 3 days. Studied about parasitology, what kind of disease does the parasits cause. For today, we studied about African sleeping sickness, malaria and leishmaniasis. haha...k..that's for the short update.

Now it is 4 am, 26th Feb here. Winds is blowing strongly outside now. Can hear the WINDS' sound.

Man's day, Melting day!

Weather was very cloudy…hahaha…and everywhere was flooded with melted snows, filled with water~
Went to the class today, last class.

Was a bit late today, cause woke up late, but I knew the teacher wont get angry, as long as we go for his classes….woke up at 8.45am. Today was a very adventurous journey. Why? Cause it was so slippery!! And the winds blew quite strongly, feels like the winds pushing you away. Haha…and yea, I fell down one time due to the strong winds pushing me on the slippery ground. Hahaha…not painful though..just quickly got up and continue my way to the hospital.

It took me quite long time, about 15 minutes to wait for the bus, I think because i was late a bit, that’s why got to wait longer for the bus. Finally, got on to the bus after a long wait….

The railway again, no more snow this time, all of them had became water….

See the river up there? everything was slowly melted into water…

The small hill which was covered with snows previously now had freezed into hard ice hill…so slippery…and also wet, that’s why I cant slide down…how?!?!??! Stopped there for a few minutes to think of the best way to get down, and finally, I saw the stones at the side of the hill..at the left side there, there’s small stones falling down…so slowly I stepped on it, with my grip on the tree besides…I got down without falling….but that’s not the only hard path, another one was just waiting in front…

A hard, freezed slippery path in front….not very hard to walk on cause there was still unstepped snows besides, so just step on the snow, and you can walk on it easily…

Well, hohoho…this was the hard one!! Previously was all white snows! And now?!!! A lake of water!!!
Oh no!! how?? The same way, there was still some snows besides but that was just superficial, under the snows, it was all water but not that much..so just stepped on it and passed by very quickly! Hoho…

Finally reach hospital….I passed the a cd to teacher, cause he required for it to copy the case history information to us, he told me that actually he had copied another cd for us, but his cd contain virus, so, still need our new cd, he will pass to another group after he copied cause today is the last class…teacher still taught me even though it was only me ..haha…

On my way back, I still have to pass through the lake of water, and this time, when I stepped on it? My shoes were like soaked in the water!!! Hahahah…all wet!! So I got to increase my speed in order to get back quickly cause the shoes were wet already…and oh no, now, got to climb up the slippery hill!! Hohoho…what a challenge for me..hahaha…well, it wasn’t so hard to climb up though with the help of the small stones..hahaha…quite fun ..hehehe…

Oooo~ this is the way which we used very time, but I think I cant use it this time, cause it was filled with water!! What a flooding day today..hahaha..so I choose another longer way….

Here it is…lesser water…cause I think the ground is higher than the previous one….but…no one knows……there’s flood in front!!! .

See the woman try to cross the lake of water in the middle of the road there? well, you still can step on the small piece of wood there…but suddenly at the center, there’s no more wood! (shown by the black arrow)..and the water is a few centimeters high!! I stopped on the wood for a while, hesitating if I really want to just step into the water and cross to the other side…hahah..but thank to the nice middle age man there who carried me over ..hahahah…so funny….he just used one hand and carry me over the water…thank to him….the man was there breaking the hard ice so that the water can flow away….he saw me stopped there with ‘what-should-I-do-now?’ face….so he came to me and carried me over…haha…

See how high is the water level??....hmm….even though snows were quite fun, but you still have to go through the bad outcome of the snows....the melting season….

Finally reach the bus stop…ehh?? You must be asking why is it different from the bus stop in previous post? Yep..it’s the different bus stop....instead of waiting at the previous bus stop, I walk farther out, to look around the scenery there….and took photos of the bricks houses….
Also, waited for quite a long time for the bus, finally got on the bus and back to my warm room…phew…what a tiring journey today..hahaha…but it’s fun though…

My bag finally ‘putus’…actually it was already want to putus liao…i kept on delaying my will on sewing it, and finally today, while I was walking back from the hospital, along the railway, it suddenly ‘pop!’ PUTUS~ hahaha…got to carry it all the way back to hostel…got to sew it tomorrow before I start a new cycle on MONDAY..hahaha…

The mouse finally DEAD! Hmm…after how many days a?? ermm….. about 5 days, it finally leave me.....haha…..thought can see it grow into a bigger rat……hmm..........so goodbye rat~ hohoho..hope I wont see any of its families appearing in my room again…hahahaha..

Okay, that’s all for today’s update…..tomorrow having church meeting at 1 pm and finance meeting with dinner at 7 pm…..how about you? Hahaha..have a nice day to my beloved family and friends~

Sorry for not updating it…cause internet server was down last 2 days due to the shutting down of electric current in university. Not sure what happened also. Hahaha..

Okay..now update for today….Friday…Thursday had no class…so no pictures..hahhaa…so for today..
No sunshine but wasn’t cold. Temperature was only +2.3 celcius….

Tomorrow is the men's day and also a public holiday too...but our tb teacher still hope that we can go for his class.....hahaha...well...i think i m going for his last class...and give him a present on conjunction with men's day...haha...

Tonight dinner was with johnny and adeline and colley, eating the left over steambot food..nice...thanks to them...hahaha...
