我呢? 就每天把自己埋没在工作里...

上班下班...然后吃饭看电视剧....

slept early last nite at 11.30 pm...

had a long and nice sleep till 7.30am....

during this sleep, i dreamed of me with a bunch of friends, in kursk, in a train, going to a town for a visit...

that journey was long , we even have to go through the ocean, and i saw dolphins swimming around....

then there're very huge fruits in that town too.....

after reaching that town, i saw Johnny was barbecue-ing ....

and i saw people playing basketball, badminton and etc...

i was looking around searching if you were there but in vain.....

then my phone alarm ring.... time to wake up .....

Took a two hour nap before my 3 pm shift...

GUess what? FOr that short nap, i dreamed of him again.

We were all working in an old hospital with others colleague as well.

At that time, he and I were like a couple....

We teased each other, hugs, played around and etc.....

And poof ! Dream bubbles popped!....

Time to work!

Why? Why him again in my dream?

Am I still hoping something in him?

What's it? Why is it?

I cant even understand myself...........................

Had a very bad dream yesterday night....
My elder brother just came back home from Bintulu. He said he was attacked by many people and was admitted to Bintulu Hosp and eventually discharged well but noted his body had many healed wound and also his skin was like separated from the muscle and also many left open laceration wounds. So i brought him in to Emergency to stitch up the laceration wound and also to dress his wound. During the process of wound dressing, noted he slowly become drowsy and everything seems to crush, showing impending shock. Thus, he needed to be intubated as GCS dropped. I thought I will be very calm and cool cause I have seen so many and even worse cases than this. But at the moment i know my brother needed to be tubed, I was so worried, holding his shivering hands and cried cause i know once patient intubated, mortality of the patient will shoot up way far from recovery.

Was so so worried that my brother couldn't make it through and survive. AFter my brother being tubed, I finally woke up from my sleep, and only realized that it was only a dream....Thank GOd..

4 years ago, when i was in Kursk, I had once a bad dream too.. Also involved my family members, both my parents.
I was working in Emergency, then suddenly 2 trolley pushed in, and there were my dad and mom, who involved in a very serious accident. Both were pushed into the Red zone. There, I was so scared that both of my parents will leave me alone at such an early time. I was crying and woke up with tears rolling down my cheeks, only i know it was only a dream. A scary and bad dream. I hoped that dream never came true when I work in EMergency.

Please GOd, dont take away my parents and my family too early. I need them.
If it's possible, please bring me back to You earlier than them.

He's such a lazy, bossy, always think about the simplest and easiest way to get what he wanted-$$,

Of all these bad attitude, there's only one is good- stingy.....

Because of that, I've always hope he could change all his bad habits when he slowly maturing,

Hemoptysis...

Had a long hour sleep yesterday...

from 12 pm to 7.30pm, then again

from 3am till 9.30am....

Why after a 7 hour sleep in the evening, i still slept for 6 hours at night?

And that night sleep, I dreamed of me getting hemoptysis, the coughing up of blood...

Was never expected that me can get such a serious sudden onset of hemoptysis...

Everyone said in A+E department will get sick once for sure....and I proudly said that I will never get sick since I had been in that department for more than 2 weeks and also safely came out from medical department without getting sick.

I thought this time, I am going to eat my own words.............

Gradually, my hemoptysis getting more and more serious, and I still think it's just a usual flu, maybe my flu was different from others, because I refuse to get it investigated....

Refuse to know the truth that I dont wanna know...eventhough death is not scary for me...

Cause I dont wanna go through a suffering-trying-to-fight-for-life death.....

I want a sudden and unpainful death.............

Then suddenly, I am back to my reality...............My real world....before I can die in my own dream..............

Almost 2 years....

Almost 2 years already since I started my HO-ship....

Almost 2 years, I've been back to my home....

And within this almost 2 years, my brother's marriage life, which started with a marriage vow, is now desperately signing off with a divorce letter.

I don't know what had happened between this young couple, and I also don't wanna know how did that divorce thought came between them. What I know is, they shouldn't have started in the beginning if they are ending it like this.

Sigh...what a bad example in my family.

Also, listening to my own mum keep complaining about my dad's this & that, and seeing their relationship slowly progressing to an unlovely and cold one, makes me think that the real marriage life is not that happy as what happened in the series.

That's why till now, I am still wandering whether to start dating him or not...

I know we both tried to be out together, but both of us felt so awkward together alone,

Is it because we know each other too much?

I didn't know since when we stopped seeing each other,

Maybe both of us are too tired for this already.

But, if once I started, I want it to be as sweet as what portrayed in my korean series.

But, anything can happen in between....and I cant take that risk for that anything to happen.....

I'm scared, I don't wanna to get hurt,

Thus, I still prefer that nothing will happen between us....

I am happy to be single now....till I can find someone really worth my time and love on him....

Even that, I still hope that he will be that someone someday for ME.......

had a weird dream again..........

Dream about me being operated by a surgeon without a proper anaesthesia.....
Because of my sleepiness, the surgeon thought there's something wrong with my brain, so he decided to operate on my brain and take that something which cause my sleepiness out of my brain. His skill was very good that i only feel a slight pain during operation.
Besides, he also operated my heart and my lungs and i could see that my aorta is sclerosis-ing, then after that he just put everything into a empty compartmental human doll, then put it back into my body and my head and stitched it up. Then i am alive again, and the stitches were nice, like I was never been operated.....

Current time 1.40pm, another one hour to go to work..........

Yesterday was PM tagging, the last day of tagging, from 1 pm to 11 pm.
Green zone wasn't that busy yesterday, manageable.
Until 10.30pm, no more case to see cause i think the MA piled up the case outside then only bring in a few cases together later on....So, better dont take any case for then on, otherwise, if it's a complicated case, i might stay up till 12 am to settle the case...... Able to go back at 11pm sharp yesterday............ so happy...

Reached home @ 11.30pm, mum had already sleeping, brother staying overnight at his wife's house, me after shower, took 2 buns, with one big cup of cold green beans, locked my door and watched my favorite korean series...hohoho....

Woke up at 6.30am, wondering how did i get into sleep when i was watching my series, anyway, i haven't finish my series yet, so was going to continue my series, then i heard mum tried opening my door....shit... got to go back to bed sleeping, if not, she's gonna wake me up for house work.... So, slowly she got a key to open up the door..... that's the good thing of locking the door...so that you have the time get ready before got caught...haha....

She took all my dirty clothes out and my left over plates and cups and left my room......but i felt asleep after she left the room, thought of waking up after one hour to help her drying all the clothes but ended up sleeping till 10 am.........got a brief headache after such a long sleep with a weird dream, this time was bout staying in a new room with the same roomate again, i dont know where was it, but it's a hostel room where i got the same roomate again......then was cleaning the room half way, i woke up d..........

it's a Saturday morning.........took my simple breakfast and continued on with my last episode of series........then hanging around with my niece a while, then back to my computer, surfing net, waiting for the 3pm shift.....sigh.........cant go to tonight's talk at Hilton......

Boring life but peaceful.....Enjoying the peacefulness though......

Saw his msn nudge this morning but didnt get to reply cause I was still in my dream,
Was he off today? miss hanging around with him.....
hmm.......lets go on with my own business...........

Hope today's green zone will be free-ier than yesterday...................

Had known this guy since the 2nd year of my medic course.

Because of my very best friend, I was in the same group with him for 5 years,

Till we graduated together as a person our parents want us to be....

During those 5 years, we had sweet memories, also the bad ones...

Started with sweet first,

As usual. all started with friendships, an unusually-close one,

THen came in the bitterly bad memories, where we had a fight,

Since then, we declared each others as Enemy,

Cold war started and lasted around 1 and half year ?

Then he tried to bring our broken friendship back together after such a long period of war,

Slowly, the broken pieces of friendships were fix together before graduation,

But it can never be the same as it was before.

Time is all what it needs to get better..................

Almost 8 years already, I am still having some kind of weird irregular palpitation every time I bump into him. I don't know why and i dun wanna know cause I know deep inside my heart know WHY.....sigh....

Why cant I just treat him as one of my usual close friend?

Why I always look away from his eyes?

Why until now, I will still see him in my dreams on and off?

And the last time I dreamt of him was yesterday...

I had forgotten what was it about anymore but he has been coming to my dreams on and off for the past 8 years....

A balanced education:

God gave us two important books: the "book" of His works, the material universe (the "general revelation"), and the book of His words, the Bible (the "special revelation").

Both are critical to a balanced education. The cosmos tells us about His creativity, His eternal power, His superiority over all things (His "divine nature" Romans 1: 20). The Bible teaches us the purpose of creation, how to live in it, and how to spend eternity in a loving relationship with God.

Knowledge is everything we've come to understand about the universe from all the sources of truth available to us (the Bible, the creation, relationships, experiences). Ethics relates to what we understand to be moral, good, and right. An equation can help us visualize this basic biblical wordlview:

Knowledge + Ethics = Behavior

The Bible is our main source of understanding about ethics, and the origin and purpose of the creation. Our behaviour flows out of what we know to be true, moral, good and right.

The secular undrestanding, of course, doesnt acknowledge the Bible as a source of truth. Many unbelievers read from only one book: the natural world, ignoring God's word and its instruction.

Unbelieving educators justify sexual promiscuity, even rape, as normal sexual behavior and the killing of imperfect or "excess" infants or the elderly as beneficial to the progress of humanity. That's the result of seriously unbalanced education.

Wake up! Wake up! Just woke up from my sleep! Had a sweet dream just now! I dreamt of owning my favourite car coated with my beloved color name “RED”!

I promised myself before, to buy a car, a red car, for myself. But now, I haven’t even worked yet. Even when I started working, I have to save my salary up to buy a car but to save that big amount of money, takes up years and years!

Besides, I have to do some research of this car’s spare parts whether the spare parts are easily to get and with a reasonable price too. Because even though you get the car and the spare parts are super expensive, it is not worth it!

Let’s start from autumn in 11 of OCTOBER 2008….

As you know, we all had our AUTUMN GROUP PHOTOS DAY on that special day!
Johnny uploaded only some of the photos…but now, since I am not so busy, so I uploaded almost complete series of autumn photos.....hehehe….
First, we departed our hostel at around 9.30 AM…..

Last time, there were 2 in our group, but until ONE DAY, one of the two realized that actually she looks nice in photos and since that day, she likes to take photo and now only left Bryan alone who hates photos taking…
Ooopppss… Did I reveal the only ONE in our group???? Hehehe…well, I think that is not a secret anymore…

Johnny likes to take a series of photos, meaning,
ONE press on camera, there will be ‘ka cha’ ‘Ka Cha’ KA CHA’ 5 times, or 10 times, as you like!

Today, on 5th of January 2009, just one day after Johnny’s birthday…
Tell you a secret told by Johnny told!
Yesterday night at 12am on 4th of January 2009, Johnny was waiting for his “beloved” groupmates to celebrate his birthday! He waited and waited~ But none appeared!
Poor guy! Hahaha… He ended the secret with a scolding “死的!” hahaha!!

Sorry Johnny! We never know you were so anticipating it, but I think you can take that as a LAST birthday SurprisE for you this year! Hahaha!!

Anyway, we already planned a birthday lunch for this “birthday” boy…
He must have already post about it in his own blog! Haha…

So let me post about what we did after his birthday lunch! HOohoho…
We decided to go out take photos with the white snows outside there!
At the park behind our hostel.. We took lots of SERIES of photos!

And first, we stepped out from our hostel, we saw a snow man ready made!
Heard it was built by Brazilian living in our hostel! WOW! Geng!

Always, there are cars parked near the playground, and whenever I passed by the cars which are covered with snow, I will draw a smiley face on it….

Well, actually Johnny had already listed it down already, but I added in some details….starting from
Eddy: I wish all of us will get posting in Kuching [Bryan wasn’t agree with this, not wanting to see the same faces he has been seeing for 6 years! Hahaha…]
Johnny: That we can go back early this summer [ Everyone cheer that’s a GOOD wish!]
Lynn Wei: - Everyone is happy [Everyone: YEAH!!]
Me: Earn more and more MONEY $$$$ [Everyone: *LAUGH out LOUD*]

Everyone raised their hands, all of them was against me sitting on that place and required me to change place or rotating the sits after some time…. Hahaha….
So, in order to calm all of them down, I have to help them scoop as much fried rice as possible for them…

We finished the dinner quite fast because everyone was so hungry waiting for the dinner..

Everyone had stopped eating except me and Andrew, still continue eating, Andrew said, he will not stop eating until I stop…hahaha…so they chatted while waiting for us to finish, before continue with the desserts….which will be
Jelly, Salads, and Chocolate cake…

Actually, the only left over was chocolate cake, because it was the last dish, and some of them didn’t manage to finish their own slice, so they ‘da pao’ it for tomorrow’s brunch…

Our 2009 AGM had now came to an end at 10.15 pm....
Okay, lets clean up now!

At First, this New Year Group Dinner didn’t have a good response from everyone of us, because some wanted to do something different from previous group dinners, meaning, preparing some unique dishes, which we never cook before…and for those who always escaped from cooking, have to do something different this time…

And, in conclusion, none of the unique dishes can be decided, cause the raw materials here are very limited and also the cost to prepare those unique dishes is quite high..
So the discussion ended with nothing decided….

Until the day before the dinner, the camera-man gave each of us in charge of one dish..
And this time, I am not allowed to do ‘lo han’ drinks…so, instead of me, Teo was given the “Honor” to prepare the “lo han” drinks, the most easiest dish of all…. Hahaha…

The dinner turned out very nice, even the dishes were almost the same as previous times but at least, there were some differences…hahaha…

So, after this New Year group dinner [also known as ANNUAL GROUP MAKAN], nobody knows when will be the next Group 4 MAKAN….
Maybe there will be one BBQ during summer… well, it still remain undecided…
And this 2009 AGM might be our last dinner…. Hahaha….

Just finished our “sectional medicine” cycle last Friday….
These, I took during our “Sectional medicine” cycle….

LEFT SIDE: A bottle of chicken spicy seasoning oil… heard it is quite nice… that is a present for Khian Lu and Lynn wei from Josephine and I….

From left side: A chewy sweet from neighbor… a tube of medicine from another friend… and a box of cheese cake dessert from my ministry leader…

The medicine is for my mouth ulcer…the ulcer has not healed for almost a week, so I asked Mervyn to buy for me, it cost me 67 roubles!
So expensive, so I just joking with him, ask him to give me as a Christmas present…
He actually agreed! Hahaha…\

It is actually a stomalogical gel, contains antibiotic… but the pharmacist said can be used on ulcer…. Hope it’s effective…. Haha..

Got this Christmas present from Johnny and Adeline to me and Josephine…

Chocolates…. Yummy….nice...thanks J & A! Merry Christmas!

Make another steamed cake for my ex-shepherd for her 22nd birthday and also Christmas present….. she gave me muffins baked by hostel 4 (not by hostel 5, so a bit different) and also a Christmas card… so ‘pai she’ if I didn’t give something in return ler…hahaha…
Previously, I baked kuih momo for her birthday, so this year, steamed cake will do la..
I added some chocolate cubes into the cake, but seems like it doesn’t work so well as for the baked one….. anyway, it came out not bad la… so still can give people…

Last but not least, BILLA, another new supermarket opened just a few days ago!
And it has special offer price for some products like chicken, veggies, chocolates and others….. till 8 of Jan… And with that, they also give a free cup for each purchase..
I got 3 cups altogether previously…. Gave 2 away…left 1 for myself…
And today, I went to Billa again and got another 2 new free cups..hahaha…
So, now I have 3 cups…. For wat? For FUN…. Since it’s Free ma…then I could break my cups without worry..hohoho….

Some cashier give the cup only if your purchase is over 100rb but only one cashier give cup eventhough you only buying one stuff…. So..if you want to get more cups, have to go to a correct punya cashier…hahaha….that’s what I did…. Shhh…….

Went into this clothes shop, Terranova, where most of the clothes here are for youngster.
Now got 50% less…

Tried a few skirts and blouses…. Which one do you think is nice??
A strip dress…. Don’t really like it..cause got holes everywhere as it is knitted..

Went to New Yorker with Lynn wei, teo and bryan today...
Tried out a few other skirts and blouses...
In the end, i bought a black colour blouse...
INitial price was 399, then decrease to 299 then today i bought it for 199 roubles
After that, we went to supermarket to get some foods for dinner,
then walk back to the hostel, on our way back, we stopped by a shoes shop...
Saw a few pair of high hill shoes with 590rb per pair.... wonder how's the price in malaysia...
Later on, saw this pair of ear ring...bought it for 40rb only....
Nice? Suitable for birthday or christmas present for friends..... or maybe i'll keep it for myself...

Yo! Updating you with my latest hair style....Picture taken using my hp...

Got this egg... Chocolate egg as a christmas gift from a friend...
Cracked the egg... there was another small egg inside...
Tada~ the small toy inside the small egg..
We have been baking muffins since sunday! And finally today, we had finished all the Hostel 5 orders.... around 260 orders! Yea!!! Here are some pictures of our muffins...

THe muffins outside the box are all mine... i got 2 boxes for myself, and 2 boxes shared with Josephine...so altogether will be 9 muffins.... did u notice that there is no chocolate muffins in there? Cause i exchange it with banana muffins since the banana muffins are too many.....

At first, teo thought i wrote that and paste it for Mariam...
But, it was the other way round... Written by Mariam for me to know...i dont know if Josephine is involved or not...but since she drew 2 mouses at the bottom there, so, maybe Josephine is involved also...hahaha....

What a weird way of communication! hahahaha...

Heard from her groupmate that she was complaining about me during their classes because my keyboard and mouse noises have disturbing her sleep this few days...
you know there is a big discount for internet at night..thats why i always online till late at night....
And i hate using touch pad, which is so troublesome for me..... Mouse is so much easier! But the clicking sound of mouse pissed her off! Until she has to paste that big poster at my wall....
so funny.....

Now, how to soften the clicking sound of my mouse?
i thought of buying a new external touch pad but i think, there is not necessary to waste that kind of money....so i thought of a way to turn down the clicking sound!
By Wrapping a thick towel around the mouse... that's mean i stuck my mouse in the towel and click it inside! Tried it last night, and the clicking sounds really much more soften........
Hope it wont disturb her sleep anymore liao la...If it still disturbing, then i just give it up alreayd liao la.... and She just has to find a way for her own ....
No class tommorow....cause there are some celebration in the forensic medicine department...
Planning to go shop for christmas present tomorrow, with Josephine and Lynn wei!
Yea yea...hahhaa....

Phew... finally finished all the orders for muffins today! LAst few days were quite tiring....

hi ppl! havent blog for one whole week! Cause i dont know what to write about..there's nothing interesting to write about...so ... plus its winter.....haha... my brain cells seems like hybernating...

Today’s programme was Cat exhibition…
There was a cat exhibition at 10am to 6 pm…
Went there with a friend of mine….

Went into an electronic shop in the shopping mall…saw this plasma tv cost 44799rb

2 types of mandarins are available during this season…..
Big sized and small sized…
Last time I bought the big sized one..and it tasted so sweets that I finished 5 mandarins straight …..that time it cost me 58rb per kg….
And now, its 57rb per kg…so I bought half kilo of it…only 3 biji for half kilo!
And then I bought another half kilo of small one, 43rb per kg….. but the small ones not as sweet as the big one….
But then, after I tried it….the big one now is sour la!! Thank God I only bought half kilo!
The small ones tasted sourly sweet…hahaha….gonna buy more of the small ones…

This is the coffee steamed cake…. And besides is the mint steamed cake!!
I like the mint cake the most! I have to steam the same mint cake another time with lots of MINT inside!

Having forensic medicine cycle now! For another one week after had our 3 days class last week….. took some of the pictures in the class….. all are preserved organs and fetus…

Planned to bake a steam cake again… to clear my ¼ debt of the cake to teo and Johnny

Look nice right?

But..too bad… it didn’t want to cook…. I had steamed it for 2 hours…. So I put it into the oven at last… and it become like this….

I think I cant pay my debt with this failed cake…. So I distributed it to others….
Some said, it tasted like moon cake, some said it is nicer than the previous cheese cake…
For me, it has no taste… haha…maybe I am getting sick of it already…..
I think I will stop baking cake for some time………… sick of it! Hahaha…

Well, stop baking cake, meaning, I will find other stuff to do!
For example, making a pillow case for my newly adopted small pillow! Ahaha…
Church office going to throw it away because they doesn’t want small pillow…
So I adopted it, and threw it into the washing machine to wash it!
And then, I planned to put it on a new clothe which is my old clothe….

Put the clothes inside out……
Saw it..according to the size of your pillow….
Cut off the edges….
Turn it inside out…..
Put in your pillow!

Here it is!!! Love it! Hahahha…

Finally got my winter ODJ [our daily journey], a daily bible devotional book…
Although I didn’t open it up every single day but I like to receive it because every book has a different cover … Hope I can read this every single day!

Simple cheese cake................

Friday....
Planning to bake cheese cake after class. SO, bought the ingredients for the cake from the supermarket after class... cheese, butter, sour milk, biscuits... Others like sugar, flour and eggs i have it already....

Back to hostel..borrowed the 3 measuring cups from johnny.... just wanna make sure i get the correct amount...actually i can convert all the measurement to table spoons... but just to make sure the tablespoons count given in internet is correct, i better use the measuring cup and counted the amount of tablespoons needed for one CUP.... ONE CUP is equal to 18 tablespoons.. and it is really 18 tablespoons! Next time just use table spoons enough already..hahaha...

Here is the result of the cheese cake......
the crust is a bit too think.....
Johnny said the crust too thick, no cheese flavour... so there's nothing to taste for, only can fill in his stomach....
Teo said.. crust a bit too thick but it tasted not bad..... he said..its ok..as long as i have the heart to bake for them.... hahaha...

i gave 1/4 of the cake to each of them, teo and johnny.... and i still owe each of them 1/2 of cake...it will be steamed cake...

left 1/2 of the cake..i distributed to others...everyone said very nice...only the crust is too thick...
sylvia said it tasted like custard...so she likes it very much...

Wanna know why i baked a cheesecake?????
Here is the reason! and the proved! I dared them , teo and johnny to hold each other hands like a couple! So teo said, if they holded, i have to bake cheese cake for them... 1/2 of the cake for each of them! So I agreeed, i thought a SHY person like JOHnny wont hold Teo's hand... but...
Thing didnt go like I thought... they really holded hands...and took a picture of it somemore!
hahhaha... SO, i lost.... This phenomeno happen in the month of April..Until know only i paid my debt! hahaha.... Well..better than breaking my promises right?

My friday dinner! Soup, mee, and dim sum...... is it a lot? i was very hungry at that time..then after finished all of it.. my stomach was very bloated............... next time got to cook lesser a bit..hhaha..

Pao... made by kelvin and his helpers... they are doing fund raising now... by selling pao, cookies, handphone cover, christmas cards......
i bought pao, cost me 20 rb per one... and also butter cookies cost me 15 rb for 15 butter cookies..
The 'isi' tasted nice... ginger plust minced chicken meat and eggs also..
but the 'kulit' is hard.. not like the real pao, the kulit very soft...

It was raining almost whole day... everywhere was wet... and also my shoes got dirty because of this wet weather!

Came back from church..saw this biscuit i ordered from kelvin.... 15 biscuits for 15 roubles...

Wet snowy day...

Woke up at 9am today! Thank GOd i still able to wake up at that critical time...
Actually i got up at 8am but Mariam was using the toilet... so i tought i just take a few more minutes of sleep until she left for her class...

Who knows that few minutes of sleep leaded to an hour of sleep....
The 9 am shocked me out of my bed.. put on my trousers straight.. took my bag.. put on my jacket, scarf, ear muff, specs and watch.... Ran all the way down to first floor, with high speed walking to the bus stops.. prayed that i will get the bus immediately... thinking 'what an overslept story' AGAIN ...which gave me an idea to blog about for today...hahaha...

But ... 5 minutes passed... a mini bus arrived... but when i got in.. driver said its full..so got out of that...

10 minutes passed... no buses still....
15 minutes passed.... 20 minutes passed.... no buses still..

The class started at 9.30am, and it was already 9.20am, journey to the hospital took at least 15 minutes......so i guess, absent is better than late...
Thus, Was thinking... maybe i just go back to hostel.. and prepared to go for the extra class....

Who knows, on my way back to hostel, i met Andrew... who always late for class almost everyday.. he was surprised i am walking in the opposite direction of his...
The idea of him being late almost everyday is the teacher herself, always not punctual.

If it will be late, at least i have companion, so why not i go? hahaha..
So, i changed my direction, followed behind him, walk to the same bus stop again...
ANd this time, we got the mini bus very quickly... Met another groupmate, Ting, in the minibus...
so, now, another companion joined in! hohoho...

Got to the class 10 minutes late, and not surprisingly, teacher wasnt there yet....
Thank GOd... at least i dont have to come for extra class cause heard extraclass is quite troublesome......

I think i have to start counting how many times have I overslept ... and how many times of it, I went for class successfully?

After class, went to pay money for our church hall...was snowing mildly... times to take out my snow cap....

Snows was really short... around 30 - 45 minutes... after that, the snow melted very quickly, make the ground muddy...

Snowy night

THere was a mild snowing on TUesday morning. But tonight, the snowing was heavier. SO, expecting a while white ground tomorrow morning!
Teacher told us that this year, snow was a bit later. Usually, it will be snow in the beginning of November. But this year was in the mid of November. And she expected that it will stop snowing in New year. Instead of snow, it will be rain. Lets see if her expectancy is right or not?

Johnny was so much, anticipating for snows this year. Checking weather broadcast all the time. Why? Hmm..Maybe it will be the last year for us to experience a snowy season here! hahaha...

This was my dinner last saturday... haha..baked chicken...yummy..
Divided into 2 parts... one part for lunch..another for dinner!

Birds ... taken when i was feeding them with my dropped-biscuits...
I bought a packet of biscuits last week, and while i was swinging the plastic bag with biscuits inside, it accidentally slipped off from my hand and dropped onto the ground, and not only that, the plastic bag break out a big hole and biscuits scattered all over... so i picked all of them up and keep it for the birds.. Good thing the birds like it..hahaha..if not, it will be very wasting by throwing it all into the garbage bin. ANd thank GOd, i bought a cheaper biscuits..hahaha...

Basketball.. Body ache... Autumn...

Hi, more update for today on Wednesday, 9th of October 2008. Remember to click on the picture to have a zoomed in picture!

Class as usual, started at 9.30 am. I am using tram bus, so I have to leave my hostel 1 hour before the class because the journey takes me 30 to 45 minutes.

Today’s morning was thickly covered by the ‘wu’.
My groupmates said according to their parents, if in the morning, ‘wu’ was very thick, then in the afternoon, the weather will be very warm and shinny. I never know about this before.
Mum, you know? Did you tell me before? Or I forgot about it? Or you forgot to tell me?? Hahaha…
Anyway, it was not too late to know about it now…..

On my way back to hostel… around 12 pm… shinny… so … the old people teaching about the ‘wu’ really happened….

The bread I bought from hyper supermarket! Haha… I heard teo said very nice… so I wanted to try it…
Very long bread… length, from my shoulder joint to my wrist…..

This is the advertisement board here… all the above is the same advertisement board. Notice how it shift from one advertisement to another advertisement….
Its like a row of woods, rotating together from time to time…haha…

Another specialty here… breads seller… selling small pizza, hotdog bread and etc with the metal container which can keep the breads warm…. We can always see this around the market, and also near hospitals….

Anyway, it is a shop selling hot fresh breads….. never enter before… maybe I will go in and have a look soon…

Took me around 45 minutes to reach my hostel… just when I wanted to start my lunch, Josephine asked me to go play basketball with her…it was 1.15pm..we planned to go out at 1.30pm…. So I quickly finished up my lunch, bread with a cup of milo… changed to sporting clothes… packed my bag and leave for the basketball court at the kursk gate (a place’s name). Why kursk gate? Hmm.. I think maybe it is an invisible gate entering the kursk … because it is the same road going to Moscow…..

We walk there, around 30 minutes walk if I am not wrong… or 45 minutes…

Goats trying to cross the road… very smelly la… Josephine kept on warning me not to go near, scared they will attack with their ‘tanduk’ [arghh..my English vocab getting lesser! Tell what it called in English please!]

Here we were! The combination of football and basketball court, with 4 baskets… and also, 2 football gates… you can see it is fenced, public and it is FREE! Usually, Josephine goes to the university sports hall for basketball, and she has to share the cost of the renting with other players….

Who is that fellow jumping there? haha…ok.. is me….. trying to throw the ball into the basket!
The other red t-shirt girl is Joyce, Josephine’s groupmate…

The 3 guys on the left are also Josephine’s groupmates… the basketball court were dominated by her groupmates at that time… nobody else but her groupmates plus me…

You can see outside the court, there were lots of parents with their children sitting on the chair enjoying the shinny and breezy evening…. There is also small playground outside the court…

There are 4 baskets in the court… and 3 basketballs… one ball is spoilt so only 2 balls are usable.
Josephine and her groupmates started their match… and me, not wanting to join them, practice my basic basket aiming ball at the other baskets… good thing the court has 4 baskets.. you can use any of them..hahaha…

A little while, there were many children showing up in the court… not many also, only 4 or 5… haha..

Around 4.30pm, we finally wanted to go back to hostel.. cant believe we came out since 1.30 till 4.30! the good thing here is you can come out for sport early in the evening… and it is not hot!
But this good thing wont last long.. because, winter is coming~ when winter takes over, outdoor sport activities are limited… and so, we have to pay for the indoor sport hall if you want to have sports..

So, 4.30 pm, we planned to walk back, but before that, lets play with our camera outside the court cause it is nice to take the picture with the orange leaves all around….

Here is the update….

Now my bathroom got cold water already, but the flow is not very big. Heard the hot water will be back on 18th of September. So, got to wait for a week.

There are still many honeydew and watermelon now. The ‘summer’ fruits. Hahaha..
Honey dew, 1 kg for 14 roubles
Watermelon, 1 kg for 12 roubles. The water melons are all very big.
So, I bought the honey dew.

This is my honeydew. Heard if you want to buy a sweet honeydew, you have to choose the honeydew with the most ‘scars’ on it. Mine wasn’t that many scars. Haha..

The biscuits, wanted to take the photos of the small bees flying around the biscuits but are not visible in my photos. Hmmmm…

The tram I used everyday to surgery classes

Two cup mees from Malaysia, given by Josephine’s friend. Helped her moved her stuff to her room last few days, so she thanked us with this 2 cup mees. Haha… Taste not bad.

Kursk new shopping complex. Another new shopping complex in kursk had completed its construction during summer holidays. It is a 4 storey shopping complex with lots of fountains. There are no supermarket inside. Only those branded boutique, video shops, fast foods corner, cinema theatre and bowling corner.

The church office is full of donated clothes now and books, electrical devices and stationary. Going to have these second hands stuff sale soon. These stuff are all from the graduated students. Some of them even sent their medicines, their presents here. All kind of stuff .

I had off the church office fridges to defroze the freezer. The freezer is now full of ice. Lets see how it become today. Hahaha…

Hi! I am here in foreign land for 4 days already! The internet just back yesterday. So, only started to blogging now. I am becoming lazier to blog nowadays and I realized my English is becoming weaker. Weaker? Anyway, got to brush up my English for blogging now! hahaha…

Okay..lets start from ……

The time I got scared by my room key! On my way to board on the plane from Dubai to Moscow, I was thinking of what to do after I step into my room 610, suddenly I thought about my room KEY!
That time only I thought about it! I never thought of my key while I was packing for my luggages!
My goodness!! Was searching the key in my memory, thinking where would I put it! Why I never thought about it! Oh no! NO key to my room???? I got to wait for Josephine to come back? That will be how many days??? Hmmm… Impossible…. I think I must have put it inside the luggage since the day I unpacked my luggage at home. Must be in the pocket of the luggage. MUST BE! Lets pray…

We all arrived in Moscow at around 4.00pm.. After went through all the visa checking and baggage collecting, it was around 5 pm, and the van was waiting for us outside the airport already.

I exchanged my 100 usd. It was so ‘rugi’ changing in airport! At first, she only gave me 1000+ for 100usd! Huh? I asked her how much altogether, then she only realized she got it wrong…. So, gave her back all the money, and she recounted and gave me back the right amount. Forgot how much is it cause it minus some commission….

The van cost 9500rb divided by 8 people. So we just collected 3000 rb from 3 people and 500rb from me and paid it first. Others, will be counted after we got back to Kursk.

Arrived Kursk at around 1 or 2 am. Haha..dont really know…. Cause busy carrying all the luggages.

I brought up all my belongings to Johnny’s room first, which is in 3rd floor. No lift, so just put in his room first. First thing of all, find my key! Yea! It was in my luggage’s front pocket. Hohoho..
Thank God…. The keyS are very important, cause it has the keys to 3 rooms! Phew…..
So, got my key to my room! Yea! If not, I thought I have to ‘tumpang’ in some one’s room…
But, but, bryan, his room lock had changed, so even though he has the key, he cant enter his room, so he slept on shi how’s bed first that night, and then got back to his own room the next morning…

Bring my hand carry and my laptop up to my own room…Left the big red luggage in Johnny’s room first…. Before that, helped Diana took her handcarry up first.. then my own turn.

Step into my room, both toilet and bathroom were dark! Meaning, bulb ‘rosak’. Changed both of it…

This is what I saw when I step into my room…. Stuff stacked like small mountain on Josephine’s bed..
That are all her friend’s stuff who is moving in from premed hostel. The stuff will be there till 1/9/08. After that, her friend will move it to her own room which will be in 8th floor.

Wanted to take bath, but only hot water. NO COLD WATER!! Oh!!! How I wish I am at home now!!
Never mind…. The first few ml of hot water was rather cold….so.... collected the water with pail, and only got to bath without washing the hair.

Then, got my bed ready and sleep! Good thing I brought back a new blanket from the plane. So used the new blanket first. It was around 3 am already.

The next morning, Saturday morning, around 10.30am, planned to pass up our visa, and paid for the registration fee. Visa can only be renewed one month before it due. Mine will be due in November, so only can be renewed in October.

Too bad, the office was not opened, so only can passed up on Monday… So, we all walked to the nearest supermarket EVROPA… still remember? Haha…

They all went for lunch.. I just bought one 5 litre mineral water and one 0.9 litre juice for its bottle. Sad to say that, I left my water bottle in the plane. I think it dropped up when I take my blue bag out from the ‘overhead’ cabin of the plane from KL to Dubai. I felt that was something gone inside the bag, I check the dumplings…all inside ler…then I thought I think too much… so just forget it….

When I got inside the Dubai airport, wanted to fill my water bottle, then only I realized I lost my water bottle! Sorry dad…. Hehe…

Bought 2 mineral waters with 1 usd… 1 mineral water cost 1 dh (derha? Dubai currency). Got 1 dh change back some more. Cheap right? In KLIA, Bryan they all wanted to buy mineral water but in the end didn’t buy, cause it was too expensive… not RM2 but RM6!! All out of the RM 2 budget. Haha…

Then lent the 1 dh to khian lu for another mineral water.

So, after bought the stuff I wanted, walked back, it was raining that Saturday morning, very light rain…
No worry… brought my umbrella….

Back to my room, went down bring up my luggage, step by step…up to my floor…slowly…hahaha…
Thought there will be lift, but too bad, no lift up, only in the morning got lift, afternoon, don’t know why the lift was off….

Nevermind la, carried my red luggage slowly …slowly… so no worries….

Unpacked all the stuff…arranged all the stuff….
Then, soaked my snoopy blanket and pillow cases…. After 30 minutes…I pressed pressed it in the pail…then rinse it with the hot waters…cause only got hot waters…

Then dry it in the room… bring my heater near to it… on the heater to the max… the blanket and pillow cases will be dried by the night… then I can sleep with it already!

Okay..Sunday morning… what did I do?? Still, tidying my room a bit…washed a few clothes and my red jacket with hand, cause the washing machine is not ready yet, cause, no cold water also on the first floor!!! Why no cold water? The hostel is running the renovation room by room, so that is why the cold water is off…. Renovation is now in 3rd floor… Johnny’s bathroom is in the process now…

Khian lu joked that we are like coming to a after-war place to live. Haha…. Place where war just ended..everything is still in construction…..

No cold water, how to bath? Well, the other wing of my floor has cold water, so I brought back a pail of cold water back to my own bathroom, mixed with hot water to bath lor…cause the hot water now is really hot…cant bath…haha…

Monday morning…. Knew that our first cycle will be surgery, for 3 weeks, we went to the far hospital first, then reached there, the teacher there told us that, our class will be in another hospital with another teacher, which is nearer to our hostel… so we got into the bus, 40 minutes ride to the correct hospital…

Saw our teacher, is an old teacher… heard the old teacher is very nice… hmmm..Lets see…
He brought us around the hospital…. Then told us the topics for next class….back to hostel..
That Monday class, only me, lynn wei, Johnny, bryan and Kelvin, 5 of us from our group presented…
Others will be arrived on Tuesday morning, today.... except Andrew who will be departing on 5th of Sept.

In the evening, went to supermarket, shopped for dinners foods….well, back to the same foods we ate 2 months ago, frozen veggies, nuggets, pelmeni, and cabbage… chickens oso…

Tuesday morning, 8.30am, walked out from our hostel to buy a tram card. Cause, it will be cheaper with that card compared with the daily paid. Lets count…
8 rb to go, 8 rb to come back… to and fro… 16 rb…
Lets say 5 days a week, 16rb x 5 = 80rb
3 weeks, 80 x 3 = 240 rb… which we have to spend in transport…
If we bought the card, the card is only 150rb, but that for student. So, we have to buy it with our student card. If for adult, it will be 340rb.

This is the card… the 9 there meaning September…so only can used in September….

There are other cards too, card for only tram, card for only trolley bus, card for only long bus, and also has combination card which can be used for tram and trolley bus and so on….
All that are only worth for students and other who always need the transport services.

So, we just show our card to the tram conductor…then we don’t need to pay..
The card can only be used in 1 month time.
Around 10 minutes ride to the hospital… it was very near, but the tram is too slow, so 10 minutes is needed…but still good…cause cheap…hohoho….

Today was very sunny… but cold… according to yahoo weather broadcast, it is only 6 degree….
Don’t know if it is 6 degree or not…..but it is cold….

University and Russian life is back again after 2 months holidays…. How I wish the holidays could be forever….but it is impossible… Life is LIFE….. so get rid of it.. and go on…
Slowly adapt to the hostel life,
where you have to share the room with 2 roomates,
where you have to dry your clothes in your room…
where you have only one small part in the room belongs to you…
where you have to off the pictures cause pictures consumed more bytes…unlike the unlimited internet at home….

The only good things here is NO MOSQUITOES….
Hahhahaha……

Still missing home badly… I realized I don’t really miss home the first day I came here…
But why year by year, I miss my home more and more? Why? Cause my home has unlimited internet now..hahahaha…maybe that’s one of the reason but
Really, HOME really is the best place to be…
Thank God, for a good home…..

Missing home…. Missing my family…… hahahahaha……But, there is not much time for that now, cause I need to WORK hard and also study hard! Hohohoho…so.. “JIA YOU”!!!!!

One of my friends is studying in Boston now, so, I had found some information concerning to Boston which I needed before I go over to visit my friend.

The other i was cheated by the sunny sun outside the hostel and thought that the day was hot, so decided not to wear jacket. Mana tahu, it was so cold outside, because of the breezing and cooling winds. hahaha..

Last year winter break, a group of my friends and I had gone for vacation in New York!

Actually, we were planning to go at 8am to RED SQUARE.. around 20 minutes walk to there…but some people couldn’t wake up… so we postponed it to 9am....
when we went out..there were so many people in front of our university... so we decided not to walk to the red square and just joined the crowd there....

The road was closed… no cars passing by… there were many polices there….

A lot of flowers were on sale that day…. Why? Later on you will know…

Wow! so many people !!! Which tells us how important is the VICTORY DAY for all of them!
Ok…finish spying around…. Ceremony was going to start.. Ceremony of laying down the flowers and paying their respect to the soldiers? Most probably...

After the flower garland was set on place… VIP laying down their flowers on the memorial monument…
There were 6 flower garlands needed to be put on place ….
So many Reporters were standing in front ….

After all the flowers garlands were put on… all the troops of soldiers marching out from the place…

The crowds behind slowly moving forward to put their own flowers and pay their respect to the dead soldiers…..

This banners were put on along the road a week ago before the 9th of MAY….
Like we put on the jalur gemilang along the road during national day…

This is the list of programs on 9th of May… starting from 8.45 am until 10.00 pm at night….
We didn’t know there was an early parade at 8.45am..we all thought the parade wont start so early…
But it was good enough to join the parade at 9.30 am one..hahaha…
Maybe I will try to translate that list of programs so I can know more about it…

Yea! Finally finished my debt! What debt? Well, last semester, bryan, lynn wei and I had miss one class of Gynaecology due to the exam. So finally today we went to pay our debt, meaning doing the extra class. We have postponing it since last few weeks and finally today, lynn wei and I had decided to do it! Bryan had no choice but to follow us! hahahaha...

There were so many students there in the hospital today waiting to do the extra class. We reached there a bit earlier. But still there were few students earlier than us. So, we have to wait for them to finish their extra class first, then only our turn to do. We went into the class, teacher gave us 2 questions for each of us, acording to the topic of that class. Thank GOd, teacher let us passed easily. hahaha.... Finally we did our Gynae extra class.

Had a most embarrassment moment in my life during last summer, when all of our groupmates together went to eat Gulf oysters in a beach restaurant.
But, never the less, I still enjoying those moment when all of us sitting altogether and chit chatting.

Well, even so, many people doesn’t know what oysters are all about. Knowledge about what you eat is essential to make sure you eat it the right way, the right amount and even at the right place.
